Far Eastern New Century (FENC®) announces at TITAS TAIPEI 2017 that it will continue to build on its brand growth momentum with a 1 + 3 strategic focus on integration + global leadership, innovation and sustainability.

Taipei (October 16, 2017), Far Eastern New Century (TAIEX: 1402) a global leader in smart textile innovation, design and manufacturing, announced its expanded brand marketing efforts at TITAS Taipei 2017.  The expanded brand marketing effort and coverage highlight the key focus on a 1 + 3 brand strategy of integration + global leadership, innovation and sustainability.

“Last year at TITAS 2016, FENC® released its new brand marketing and visual brand marks, a significant milestone for our company,” said Eric Hu, President, Textile. “It clearly illustrated our vision and ambition for the future. We have received very positive feedback & response from our customers and we are once again very excited and committed to our expanded brand marketing coverage and strengthen our profile and position in the global market.”

Last year, FENC’s new brand marketing efforts embodied FENC® adopting a new brand ideal of ‘Simplifying Complexities, Amplifying Possibilities’. This year’s theme is ‘Hello World, We’re FENC’
“In 2016, we had positioned the FENC® brand to focus on top and downstream integration for our customers.  We not only took on the arduous tasks of integrating and simplifying the supply chain mechanics for our customers but also followed up with amplified business opportunities and possibilities. In essence, we have made it simpler, smarter, better and more cost effective for our customers to collaborate with us. Going forward, we want to ride on this brand momentum and focus on the many other important aspects for our customers, namely global leadership, innovation and sustainability. Our ambition is to be at the forefront with enhanced global capabilities, capacities, innovative solutions and continued business growth while taking care of the environment,” explained Eric Hu. We continue our commitment to broadening color palettes with reduced water use, waterless process such as super-critical dyeing and direct liquid injection solution dyeing. Our pioneering efforts in Ocean Recovery Bottle-to-Filament recycling – TopGreen® Ocean Filament, have since prevented more than a thousand metric tons of plastic waste from polluting our oceans.

This year, we introduce another two world’s firsts.

  • FENC® TopGreen® Membrane, which is the world’s first apparel use polyester waterproof breathable membrane from post consumer recycled (PCR) polyester – which will be adapted by a German outdoor brand to further their transition into a fully sustainable brand.
  • FENC® PFC-Free solution with TopClean® (Soil Release Filament) and TopDry® Zero (Durable Water Repellency Filament) products, two entirely new polyesters that eliminate further PFC pollution without compromising performance.

Last year, we introduced our innovation solutions and technology like FENC® DynaFeed® which won internationally acclaimed awards like the Gold Award at the 2016/2017 Internationale Fachmesse fur Sportartikel und Sportsmode [ISPO] in Munich. This year, we have taken it further by collaborating with a major U.S. Outdoor brand, to provide world-class cross-country skiers a motion tracking with heart rate monitoring integrated solution to maximize their training performance.

We are proud & honored to announce that FENC® will be collaborating with a Swiss medical device brand, to provide therapeutic electro muscular stimulation (EMS), which supplements muscle strength training and aids in the prevention of muscular atrophy to improve our well-being.

In 2015, we invested in new capacities in Vietnam. This year I am glad to announce that our factories are fully operational with 23K tons fabric/year and 4.9MM dozens garments/year in capacity. In 2018, the capacity will reach 36K tons fabric/year and 10.6MM dozens garments/year.

Customers who have collaborated with us know that at FENC® we are constantly challenging the status quo to meet the needs of our customers, the demands of the consumers and the growing cry to protect our one and only precious earth.

We are pleased to have started our new brand efforts successfully at TITAS Taipei 2016 and we shall spare no efforts to continue on an expanded path from 2017 onwards, added Eric Hu.
