FENC To promote “green living”, Environmental Protection Administration of the Executive Yuan initiated the Green Mark system in 1992. The government took the lead in green procurement in 2002. In 2007, the government went further and introduced Benchmark Unit of Private Enterprise and Organization Green Procurement Plan. Business entities may report the procurement of products with Green Mark. As the leader of circular economy, FENC is second to none in its efforts on green procurement.
Since 2016, FENC has been reporting actual figures on green procurement from the previous year, and the Company has accumulated over NT$10 billion as of the end of 2019, putting it in the top 2 among corporations in Taiwan. We are awarded Green Procurement Certificate by the Environmental Protection Administration for 5 consecutive years, and receiving the title, Benchmark Unit of Private Enterprise and Organization Green Procurement Plan, from the Environmental Protection Bureau of Taipei City Government for 4 years in a row since 2017. We will continue to encourage green procurement, and continue to march toward energy saving and environmental protection.

FET "Besides encouraging foreign companies to establish offices in Taiwan to promote local economic development, FET is also committed to supporting the local industry. If we deduct the orders from overseas companies and foreign brands, then in 2020 a total of 99.7% of FET's procurement was made with local companies in Taiwan. In addition, to support FET's ""Environmental and Social Friendly Program"" and to promote a green supply chain, FET encourages suppliers of all types and their respective supply chains to refer to the green procurement regulations during procurement. When the Procurement Department considers procurement bids, it also consults the Energy Saving Team for energy efficiency assessment, and includes energy-saving specifications as an open bid item.

OUCC OUCC’s practice in green consumption starts from its procurement, which specifies the equipment procurement standards with priority over products with energy-saving and water-saving labels or other eco-friendly labels which are approved by the government. For example, the energy efficiency of electrical motors must comply with CNS14400 IE3.
Green procurement ensures that the goals of power-saving, water-saving and a reduction of energy consumption are promoted. The 2020 procurement list shows the cost of the motors and equipment that complied with IE3 specifications reached NT$67.506 million; green procurement in the equipment category was 9.31%. (Total procurement expenditure in the equipment category in 2020 was NT$724.888 million.)

FE SOGO In order to promote green department stores from the inside out, FE SOGO gives priority to purchasing products with environmental protection labels and certifications. Examples like high-efficiency lighting fixtures (such as LED fixtures), saving signage equipment, and comprehensive use of FSC paper to reduce resource consumption. In 2020, the green procurement amount was NT$30.21 million (accounting for 3.95% of the total procurement amount), and was awarded the "Excellent Green Purchasing Unit" by the Taipei Environmental Protection Bureau.  30,210,000

BigCity

BigCity drives suppliers to provide environment-friendly products and services through green procurement, such as: the use of Epoxy floor coatings with the green building material mark in parking lots, the paper source of the shopping bags and food street accessories (such as napkins, placemats, chopsticks sets) are provided by the manufacturers that have obtained FSC-COC Forest Chain of Custody certification; the use of lamps/sanitary equipment/toilet paper/towel paper with environmental protection labels, and fully use environmentally friendly electric scooters for parking lot inspection vehicles.
In 2020, the green procurement amount of BigCity is about NT$ 5.6 million, and the accumulated amount from 2018 to 2020 is about NT$26 million. In 2018-2019, it has been affirmed by the Hsinchu City Environmental Protection Bureau as a "green procurement outstanding unit" for two consecutive years. BigCity has also reached the award qualification in 2020.

FEDS FEDS has been named an "Excellent Enterprise in Green Purchasing" by the New Taipei City Government for four consecutive years. In 2020, green procurement accounted for 97.7%. Green procurement is the best tool to implement green consumption, and it further promotes a green circular economy. FEDS supports green procurement by giving priority to green products that are low-polluting, energysaving, and beneficial to the environment and human health. We build environmentally-friendly green department stores through green procurement actions, pursuing environmental sustainability, and fulfilling our corporate social responsibilities.
